We are able to act promptly because we use an application called Cover My Meds. This application is also used by major retail pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens. Thus, the pharmacies also receive a notification for approval directly from Cover My Meds. This helps streamline the medication approval and filling process.

SF Psychiatric uses an electronic prescribing application called iPrescribe. Submitting controlled medication prescriptions electronically streamlines the filling process as it eliminates the need to play phone-tag with pharmacies. Additionally, e-prescriptions reduce concerns for stolen prescription pads or other foul play.

SF Psychiatric uses a HIPAA-compliant Electronic Health System (EHS) called Theraplatform which allows for ease of scheduling, rescheduling and canceling visits- all without penalty for last-minute changes with a concierge plan. This platform also provides direct messaging to your provider where your updates can be shared securely, requests can be made and issues with prescription problems can be reported for resolution.
